“SLEEPYBBYBUTT” is an ongoing multidisciplinary and multidimensional project by Meridian Mancinas.

This life- long project explores themes of gender expression, spirituality, sex positivity, sustainability along with ideas of anti-capitalism explored through (but not limited to) printmaking, garment design, fiber arts, sculpture and installation.

Since 2015 this project has successfully diverted over 3,500 pieces of clothing from landfills!

Meridian received their BFA in painting with a minor in creative writing from Otis College of Art and Design in 2015. They are born and raised in Los Angeles.
